Job Description

As a Woodwind Instruments Inspector, you will play a crucial role in the quality control of our woodwind instruments. This position requires keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence, ensuring that each instrument meets our stringent quality standards before it reaches our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of woodwind instruments as they progress through production.
  • Document and track defects, repairs, and quality assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations regarding instrument quality.
  • Work closely with craftsmen to provide feedback on quality improvements.
  • Participate in training sessions for new inspection techniques and tools.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Music Performance or related field is an advantage.
Experience
  • Track record of successful quality control in the music industry is a plus.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with musical instrument repairs
  • Knowledge of woodwind family of instruments
  • Ability to play a woodwind instrument
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of musical acoustics: Understanding of sound production and quality assessment for woodwind instruments.
  • Familiarity with CAD software: Ability to use design software for instrument modelling and inspections.
