Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Belfast. The ideal candidate will have experience in both surgical and medical care for pets. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of conditions, performing surgeries, and providing consultation to pet owners. Responsibilities

  • Conduct surgeries and dental procedures for various animals.
  • Evaluate and treat injuries and medical conditions.
  • Provide consultation and support to pet owners.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  • Educate clients on animal care and health best practices.
  • Participate in on-call duties as required.
  • Assist with the training of junior veterinary staff.
  • Foster relationships with clients and encourage repeat visits.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
  • Additional qualifications in emergency care are a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of veterinary experience, especially in surgery and emergency care
