Job Description

The Mail Carriers Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of mail to customers and ensuring that their team meets daily delivery targets. This role includes supervising staff, coordinating routes, and maintaining high standards of performance. A successful candidate will be able to lead a dynamic team while ensuring timely and accurate mail delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the mail delivery team.
  • Ensure timely sorting and dispatching of mail items.
  • Support team members in route management and customer service.
  • Prepare performance reports and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating staff shifts.
  • Respond to operational challenges and adapt plans as necessary.
  • Maintain compliance with postal regulations and company standards.
  • Act as a liaison between management and mail carriers.
  • Encourage team collaboration and motivation through engagement activities.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Proven experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably in logistics or mail delivery.
