Responsibilities
Craft educational resources adapted for students with physical impairments.
Coordinate with external agencies to provide integrated educational support.
Facilitate workshops for parents on supporting learning at home.
Promote independence and life skills in the educational setting.
Utilise varied assessment methods to evaluate student progress accurately.
Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational trends.
Lead initiatives that promote awareness of physical impairments within the school community.
Regularly review and adapt teaching methodologies based on student needs.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related area
Postgraduate qualification in education is advantageous
Experience
5 years of experience in a teaching role focusing on physical disabilities
