We are keen to find a passionate Special Education Teacher skilled in supporting students with physical impairments. This role demands creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment tailored to meet each student's unique requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Craft educational resources adapted for students with physical impairments.
  • Coordinate with external agencies to provide integrated educational support.
  • Facilitate workshops for parents on supporting learning at home.
  • Promote independence and life skills in the educational setting.
  • Utilise varied assessment methods to evaluate student progress accurately.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational trends.
  • Lead initiatives that promote awareness of physical impairments within the school community.
  • Regularly review and adapt teaching methodologies based on student needs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related area
  • Postgraduate qualification in education is advantageous
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in a teaching role focusing on physical disabilities
