Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Gallery Curator with a passion for the arts and community engagement. The ideal candidate will lead curatorial projects and enhance the visitor experience through innovative programming and exhibitions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for future exhibitions and cultural programmes.
  • Liaise with other galleries, museums, and institutions to create collaborative projects.
  • Supervise and mentor gallery assistants and volunteers.
  • Research and apply for funding opportunities to support exhibitions and projects.
  • Market and promote exhibitions through various channels to attract a broader audience.
  • Maintain records of all exhibitions and artworks for archival purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in exhibition spaces.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts Management or Cultural Studies
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in curatorial and gallery operations.
