Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Gallery Curator with a passion for the arts and community engagement. The ideal candidate will lead curatorial projects and enhance the visitor experience through innovative programming and exhibitions.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans for future exhibitions and cultural programmes.
Liaise with other galleries, museums, and institutions to create collaborative projects.
Supervise and mentor gallery assistants and volunteers.
Research and apply for funding opportunities to support exhibitions and projects.
Market and promote exhibitions through various channels to attract a broader audience.
Maintain records of all exhibitions and artworks for archival purposes.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in exhibition spaces.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Arts Management or Cultural Studies
Master's degree is preferred
Experience
4-6 years of experience in curatorial and gallery operations.
