Job Description

As a Telecommunications Line Installer and Repairer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless connectivity by performing splicing and termination operations on coaxial cables. You will be instrumental in enhancing our telecommunications infrastructure and maintaining high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise advanced testing devices to ensure optimal performance of coaxial cables.
  • Respond to service calls for repairs and maintenance of telecommunications lines.
  • Assist in the development of installation procedures and best practices.
  • Verify location and position of cabling and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Mentor junior installers and assist in training new team members.
  • Ensure all installations conform to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Work closely with project managers to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations while on-site.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional vocational training in telecommunications is a plus
Experience
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry.
