Job Description

As a New Accounts Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in assisting customers with their banking transactions while promoting various banking products and services. You will be the first point of contact, helping customers navigate their banking needs efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Support customers with their daily banking needs including transaction processing and account inquiries.
  • Educate customers on the benefits and features of banking products and services.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently and escalate when necessary.
  • Conduct transactions accurately and maintain confidentiality.
  • Record detailed notes of customer interactions for compliance purposes.
  • Work closely with the sales team to drive product promotion and meet targets.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
  • Foster a positive banking experience for every customer interaction.
  • Stay informed about changes in banking products and services to provide accurate information.
  • Contribute to team meetings and provide insights on improving customer service.

Requirements

Education
  • At least a high school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Higher education in finance, banking, or a related field is preferable
Experience
  • Experience in sales or cross-selling experience is a plus.
