Job Description

We are on the lookout for a creative Automotive Product Designer to join our dynamic team in Redcar. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing innovative automotive products that meet the evolving demands of the industry. You will work closely with engineers and product managers to translate concepts into viable designs, ensuring quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and prototypes for new automotive concepts.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams for integrated product development.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to enhance designs.
• Integrate sustainable practices into the design process.
• Provide technical support to production teams during manufacturing.
• Assist in developing marketing materials related to new product features.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in product design or development

• 3D Modelling Software
• Engineering Principles

Certifications

• Professional Engineer Status
• Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Electric Vehicle Design: Hands-on experience in designing components for electric vehicles.
