Heat Treat Technician

Job Description

As a Heat Treat Technician, you will be responsible for conducting heat treatment processes on various materials. Your role will ensure the quality and integrity of treated products, vital for the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety protocols are followed while operating heat treatment machinery.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance heat treatment processes.
• Train and mentor junior technicians in heat treatment methodologies.
• Assist in the setup and calibration of heat treating equipment.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend preventive maintenance.
• Document all processes and results as part of quality assurance.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical diploma in Manufacturing or Engineering is a plus

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in heat treatment or related field

Technical Skills

• Heat Treating Equipment

Certifications

• ISO Quality Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
