Orthotic Prosthetic Technician

Job Description

As an Orthotic Prosthetic Technician, you will play a vital role in enhancing patients' mobility. You will design, fit, and modify orthotic and prosthetic devices, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to ensure tailored solutions that meet individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and adjust a range of orthotic and prosthetic devices.
• Assist in assessments and fittings alongside orthotists and prosthetists.
• Maintain high-quality standards in device production and modification.
• Conduct follow-up evaluations with patients as necessary.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care protocols.
• Develop a streamlined process for device production to enhance efficiency.
• Implement patient feedback to improve device functionality and comfort.

Requirements

Education

• Degree or diploma in Orthotics and Prosthetics from an accredited institution
• Certification as an Orthotist and/or Prosthetist (CPO) preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

Certifications
