Project Manager

Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Project Manager to join our growing team in Coventry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget. With a hands-on approach, you will coordinate team activities, manage stakeholder expectations, and continuously monitor project progress.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of all project phases from planning to delivery.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate and report on project performance against established KPIs.
• Manage resource allocation and assist in hiring project team members as required.
• Implement industry best practices for project management and delivery.
• Facilitate training and mentorship for junior team members.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Engineering or a related field is a plus
• Masters in Project Management is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in managing complex projects

Technical Skills

• Risk Assessment Tools
• Agile Methodology

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Time Management

Certifications

• APM Certification (Association for Project Management)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Six Sigma practices: Experience in applying Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
