Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our systems and data from cyber threats. You will be responsible for implementing security measures, monitoring for breaches, and responding to incidents. Ideal candidates will have a robust understanding of network security, risk assessment, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance existing security measures and protocols.
• Oversee the implementation of security software and hardware.
• Perform risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
• Act as a point of contact for security concerns and incidents.
• Educate employees on proper security practices.
• Liaise with law enforcement and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Assess third-party vendors for security practices and compliance.
• Prepare reports on security incidents and changes in policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Assurance
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a cybersecurity role or related position

• Firewalls and VPNs

Languages
