Job Description

We are seeking a Field Research Scientist in Durham to conduct comprehensive investigations in environmental science. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and experience in field data collection and analysis. You will be essential in designing research methodologies and reporting findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field expeditions to gather ecological and environmental data.
  • Collaborate with local agencies and non-profits on community-based environmental projects.
  • Develop protocols for environmental assessment and biodiversity study.
  • Utilise GIS software to analyse spatial data and visualise findings.
  • Engage with the public through outreach programs to promote environmental awareness.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology or related field
  • Relevant certifications in field research are advantageous
