We are seeking a dedicated Pet Groomer to join our friendly team at Paws & Claws Grooming. The successful candidate will specialise in grooming pets, ensuring they look and feel their best. We are looking for someone with a passion for animal care, excellent customer service skills, and prior grooming experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide grooming services to a variety of pet breeds.
• Ensure all services are performed in a timely manner.
• Communicate with pet owners to understand specific grooming requests.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
• Keep the grooming area tidy and organised.
• Assist with the training of junior grooming staff as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to improve customer satisfaction.
• Use grooming products that are safe and suitable for pets.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal grooming training preferred

Experience

• Experience in a grooming salon setting

Technical Skills

• Grooming tools proficiency
• Flea and tick control knowledge

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to handle large breeds: Experienced in grooming larger dog breeds safely.
• Familiarity with additional pet care services: Background knowledge in pet sitting or training is beneficial.
