Job Description

As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the treatment of patients with cancer and other diseases, using advanced radiation technology. You will work closely with oncologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality radiation therapy using advanced technology.
  • Work closely with the treatment team to develop and implement individualised patient care plans.
  • Support patients emotionally during their treatment journey.
  • Document treatments accurately and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist with research studies and contribute to clinical education programs.
  • Perform routine calibration and quality assurance checks on equipment.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions to optimise patient care.
  • Provide feedback to the management on departmental processes and patient needs.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to improve clinical skills.
  • Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and communication.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Radiation Therapy is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist
