Warehouse Operative

Job Description

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll ensure our warehouses run efficiently by managing stock levels, preparing orders, and maintaining a clean working environment. Previous experience in a warehouse setting would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all goods are stored safely and securely.
• Prepare shipping documentation for outbound goods.
• Assist in maintaining equipment and reporting faults.
• Follow instructions from the warehouse manager.
• Support other warehouse staff as needed.
• Handle returns and restocking of damaged goods.
• Implement best practices for efficiency and safety.
• Work collaboratively to achieve daily targets.

Requirements

Education

• Equivalent work experience in a warehousing role

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations

Technical Skills

• Pallet Jack Operation
• Stock Control Systems

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in a high-volume warehouse: Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse setting.
• Experience with automated warehousing systems: Knowledge of automated systems and equipment in warehouses.
