Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Loading Machine Tool Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating loading machines that load materials, such as metalwork pieces, onto production lines or conveyors. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operating various loading machines, ensuring they function correctly.
• Troubleshooting machine problems as they occur to maintain productivity.
• Reviewing production schedules and adjusting machine settings accordingly.
• Implementing lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes.
• Performing quality checks on output materials and reporting discrepancies.
• Communicating effectively with team members to ensure production flow.
• Assisting in the development of standard operating procedures for machine operation.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the production team.
• Using programming software to enhance machine performance.
• Engaging in training sessions for skill enhancement.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing role.

Technical Skills

• CNC machine operation
• Lean manufacturing principles
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems

Soft Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with quality inspection tools: Ability to use various tools to ensure product quality meets required standards.
• Experience with pneumatic systems: Hands-on knowledge of using and maintaining pneumatic equipment.
