Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Nottingham office. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering design meetings and project reviews.
  • Implement best practices in civil engineering design.
  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure project timelines.
  • Develop maintenance plans for completed projects.
  • Ensure documentation of all engineering processes.
  • Provide cost estimates and analysis for projects.
  • Contribute to the development of project specifications.
  • Mentor and train junior staff on engineering methods.
  • Engage in research and continuing education to stay updated.
  • Facilitate the procurement of materials and resources.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Postgraduate qualifications are a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant field
