Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Counsellor to provide support and guidance to individuals facing mental health challenges. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and delivering one-on-one therapy sessions in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients through comprehensive assessments.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques in counselling.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Provide educational resources on mental health topics.
• Collaborate with families to ensure comprehensive support.
• Conduct follow-ups to assess treatment outcomes.
• Present mental health workshops as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a relevant field
• Master's degree in Counselling or Social Work preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mental health counselling

Technical Skills

• Crisis Intervention Techniques

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• CQC Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with young adults: Background in counselling young adults facing mental health issues.
