Production Planning Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planning Coordinator to manage and optimise our production schedules. The ideal candidate will work closely with the production team to ensure timely and efficient workflows, addressing any issues that arise and improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the purchasing team to manage raw material procurement and inventory control.
• Assist in the development of training materials for production staff.
• Participate in regular production meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
• Support the Operations Manager in strategic planning and decision-making activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or equivalent
• Relevant certifications in production management are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• SAP ERP
• Forecasting techniques

Soft Skills

• Organisational skills
• Negotiation skills

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations: Awareness of health and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in project management: Ability to lead projects and manage cross-functional teams.
