Job Description

Join us as an Animal Welfare Technician, where your skills in animal care and science will shine. You'll be responsible for the daily care of animals, assisting in medical treatments, and contributing to community outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
  • Assist in the preparation of animals for surgery.
  • Perform initial health assessments and report any concerns.
  • Engage with the community to promote animal welfare initiatives.
  • Ensure all equipment and supplies are well-stocked and organized.
  • Support training of new staff and volunteers.
  • Participate in fundraising events and awareness campaigns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
  • Relevant certifications in animal care are advantageous
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in animal care or veterinary settings
