Job Description

As a Line Welder, you will be responsible for welding metal components in a fabrication setting. You will interpret technical drawings, safely operate welding equipment, and produce high-quality welds that meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up welding equipment and select appropriate techniques for various tasks.
  • Monitor the production process and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the work area to promote safety.
  • Assist in the development of welding procedures and specifications.
  • Contribute to the selection of materials for welding jobs.
  • Work with quality assurance teams to meet production targets.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Engage in proactive communication with supervisors regarding workflow and any issues.
  • Participate in safety audits and training sessions.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional vocational training in welding or fabrication.
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role is advantageous.
