Job Description

As a Houseman, your primary responsibility will be to maintain cleanliness and oversee the upkeep of our hotel premises, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents. You'll work closely with the housekeeping team to deliver top-notch hospitality services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the cleanliness of the lobby, restrooms, and other public areas.
  • Conduct regular checks for supplies and equipment necessary for cleaning tasks.
  • Help train new housekeeping staff on cleaning protocols and safety measures.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss improvements and feedback.
  • Provide support during peak hours to ensure services run smoothly.
  • Resolve guest complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
  • Support the housekeeping team in fulfilling special requests from guests.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments for event preparations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or facilities management is preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Attention to detail

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry: Hands-on experience in housekeeping or hotel maintenance is an asset.
