Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Safety Manager to ensure our products meet safety standards and comply with regulations. The successful candidate will lead initiatives to enhance food safety protocols, train staff, and engage in ongoing risk assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement food safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide training to staff on food safety protocols.
  • Investigate food safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with food safety legislation.
  • Monitor and report on food safety performance metrics.
  • Assist in product development by providing food safety expertise.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure they meet safety requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in food safety.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in food safety or quality assurance roles
