Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Teletype Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting teletype systems. As a Teletype Technician, you will ensure the seamless operation of our communication systems, providing essential support and expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Performing installation and configuration of teletype systems.
  • Providing on-site and remote technical support to users.
  • Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Working closely with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve faults.
  • Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Staying informed about new technologies and industry best practices.
  • Developing and implementing operating procedures for teletype systems.
  • Offering training and support to new staff on equipment usage.
  • Participating in team meetings to discuss upgrades and improvements.
  • Assisting in compliance audits regarding telecommunications systems.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintaining and repairing teletype systems.
