Job Description

As a Veterinarian at our Newcastle practice, your duties will include performing diagnostics, surgery, and helping pet owners with questions about animal care. Your role is crucial in maintaining the health of our patients and promoting a positive clinic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to inform treatment plans.
  • Provide compassionate care and a comforting environment for animals and their owners.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote animal welfare.
  • Mentor and train junior veterinary staff and interns.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly clinic to meet health standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in veterinary surgery or internal medicine is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in practice, particularly in emergency care is preferred
