Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Architect to join our Sunderland team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex IT architectures that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of IT systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and deployment of IT systems that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assess technology needs and develop IT solutions to solve complex problems.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Oversee system testing and validation to ensure successful implementation.
  • Manage IT project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Document architectures, processes, and best practices for future reference.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the IT team.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5-7 years in IT system architecture or a related field
