Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Planner to join our dynamic team in Lisburn. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation planning and be passionate about developing sustainable transport strategies that meet the needs of our communities and the environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of transportation strategies.
  • Analyse traffic data to inform decision-making processes.
  • Work closely with engineers and urban planners to enhance transport infrastructure.
  • Provide expert advice on transportation policy and regulation.
  • Coordinate public engagement initiatives to gather community input.
  • Assess environmental impacts of proposed transportation projects.
  • Prepare and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Transport Planning or Engineering-related discipline
Experience
  • Demonstrable experience in urban or regional transport planning
