We are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our fleet operations in Cardiff. The successful candidate will manage vehicle maintenance, ensure compliance with transport regulations, and develop strategies for efficiency and cost reduction.
Responsibilities
Lead the maintenance schedule for all vehicles to minimize downtime.
Create and maintain an accurate record of all fleet vehicles.
Implement training programs for drivers on safety and efficiency.
Evaluate and develop relationships with key suppliers and services.
Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies for reduction.
Ensure all vehicles are compliant with necessary legal requirements.
Manage the onboarding process for new fleet employees.
Develop contingency plans for emergency situations involving fleet operations.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field
MBA or similar is advantageous
Experience
5+ years of managerial experience in logistics or fleet operations
