Job Description

As the Conditioning Yard Supervisor, you will oversee the operations in the conditioning yard, ensuring efficient handling of goods and materials. You will be responsible for supervising a dedicated team while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the daily operations in the conditioning yard.
  • Ensure the safe and effective handling of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Conduct regular stock audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Enforce safety standards and practices among your team.
  • Assist in training new staff on operational tasks and company policies.
  • Resolve conflicts and facilitate communication within the team.
  • Work with management on continuous improvements in productivity.
  • Schedule and oversee equipment maintenance and repair activities.
  • Drive initiatives for improved safety and efficiency in yard operations.
  • Prepare and present reports on yard activity and staff performance.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant certifications in logistics or warehouse management are preferred.
Experience
  • At least 3 years experience in a supervisory role within logistics.
