Job Description

As an Allergy Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with various allergies. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will develop and implement tailored treatment plans, aiming to enhance patient quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnose allergic conditions.
  • Implement and adjust individualised treatment regimens.
  • Engage in patient education on allergy prevention strategies.
  • Work cooperatively with healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Utilize electronic health records for effective patient management.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to enhance skills.
  • Advise on policy changes and best practices in allergy care.
  • Lead community health initiatives to raise allergy awareness.
  • Actively participate in hospital committees to improve allergy services.

Requirements

Education
  • Medical degree from an accredited college
  • Additional qualifications in allergy and immunology preferred

  • 5+ years practising in allergy treatment or related field
