Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Sociology Teacher for our postsecondary education programs. The successful candidate will facilitate engaging learning experiences, develop curriculum, and assess student performance effectively.
Responsibilities
Conduct interactive sessions that encourage critical thinking and student engagement.
Create and distribute instructional materials, including syllabi and resources.
Assess student understanding through exams, quizzes, and project evaluations.
Foster positive relationships with students and facilitate a supportive learning environment.
Engage in community outreach and promote the sociology program.
Assist with administrative duties related to the Department of Social Sciences.
Incorporate technology into teaching to enhance learning experiences.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Sociology or related field
Experience in higher education teaching is preferred
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the postsecondary level.
