Job Description

As a Cloth Burler, your primary role will be to inspect fabrics for any defects and carry out necessary repairs before the fabrics are dispatched to customers. Attention to detail is imperative as you will be ensuring that only the best quality fabrics leave our facility.

Responsibilities

• Use tools such as scissors, needles, and magnifying glasses for inspections and repairs.
• Ensure all repaired fabrics are properly finished and ready for packaging.
• Identify trends in fabric defects and report for future improvements.
• Help maintain a safe and compliant workspace.
• Support team efforts to achieve production goals while maintaining quality.

Requirements

Education

• Experience with different types of repairs or alterations

Experience

• Previous textile repair experience is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of different fabrics and their properties
• Sewing skills

• Problem-solving

• Experience with industrial sewing machines: Useful for handling repairs that require advanced machinery.
