Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Longshore Equipment Operator joining our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate and maintain various equipment to efficiently load and unload cargo from ships at the port.
Responsibilities
Maneuver longshore equipment efficiently to load and unload cargo.
Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
Follow established safety protocols during operations.
Work with team members to coordinate cargo handling.
Document equipment maintenance and operational activities.
Report any operational delays or issues to the supervisor.
Comply with all port regulations and procedures.
Attend training for skill enhancement.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Support a team-oriented work atmosphere.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent qualification
Vocational training in maritime operations is desirable
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience operating longshore equipment.
