Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Production Lead to spearhead our manufacturing processes in Derry. The ideal candidate will oversee production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a knack for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations on the production floor to meet safety and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Facilitate communication between different departments to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.
• Maintain inventory levels of raw materials and supplies, coordinating with procurement as necessary.
• Train and onboard new employees in production procedures and safety practices.
• Support the development of production goals and track achievement against targets.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or a related field
• Professional certifications in project management or production management are preferred.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in production management or manufacturing supervision
