Job Description

As a Boat Outfitter, you'll be responsible for equipping boats with essential gear and accessories, ensuring our customers enjoy safe and memorable boating trips. This role requires a blend of technical skills and customer service expertise.

Responsibilities

• Support the installation of marine systems and accessories.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections on completed works.
• Advise customers on suitable equipment for their vessels.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of marine technologies.
• Work closely with team members to improve service delivery.
• Document all service activities and report to the Operations Manager.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training or certification in marine outfitting preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in marine outfitting or relevant field

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of marine equipment
• Electrical wiring skills

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Attention to detail

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with boat construction and design: Hands-on experience in building or modifying boats.
• Familiarity with marine safety regulations: Understanding of laws and best practices related to marine safety.
