Construction Labourer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hod Carrier to join our construction team. You will be responsible for the transportation and distribution of bricks, mortar, and other construction materials to various work areas on site. The successful candidate will support bricklayers and assist with maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry and distribute bricks and other heavy materials as directed.
• Support tradespeople by preparing and delivering materials to various workstations.
• Observe all safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness around the work site, including clearing debris and equipment.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials.
• Work collaboratively with construction teams to meet deadlines.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
• Help with the setup and disassembly of scaffolding and other temporary structures as needed.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required

Experience

• Experience operating construction machinery is an advantage

• Forklift Operation
• Construction Machinery Handling

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent
