Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Rail-Track Laying and Maintenance Equipment Operator to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing rail track systems, ensuring their safe and efficient functioning to support our clients' operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the training of new hires and junior mechanics.
  • Report any safety hazards or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant vocational or technical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ)
Experience
  • Experience operating heavy machinery is advantageous.
Technical Skills
  • Track maintenance software proficiency
  • Technical drawing interpretation
Soft Skills
  • Problem-solving
Languages
  • English: Fluent

  • Experience with CAD tools: Proficiency in using computer-aided design tools for track layout and planning.
