Job Description

As a Vault Teller at XYZ Bank, you will be responsible for handling and processing cash transactions in a secure environment. Your role is crucial in ensuring the accurate counting and maintaining of cash balances, alongside performing essential administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all banking regulations regarding cash handling.
  • Provide support to other departments when needed, particularly in cash-related queries.
  • Track and report on cash flow shortages or surpluses on a daily basis.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss performance and improvements.
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of cash vaults.
  • Observe and enforce procedures for safeguarding personal and financial information.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant professional qualifications related to banking or finance are advantageous.
Experience
  • Experience working in a bank or financial institution is preferred.
