Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Freight Forwarder to join our growing team in Cardiff. The successful candidate will manage the logistics and transportation of goods, ensuring smooth operations from origin to destination. You will collaborate with clients, suppliers, and customs authorities to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies.
• Provide regular updates to clients on shipment status.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures within the shipping process.
• Collaborate with warehousing teams to ensure that inventory levels meet shipping demands.
• Participate in logistics and freight forwarding meetings to improve operations.
• Foster strong relationships with freight carriers and service providers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Logistics
• Additional certifications in transportation or logistics management preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding or a similar role

Technical Skills

• Shipping Software

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with customs brokerage: Experience with customs brokerage processes can enhance the role.
