Job Description

We are currently looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will take charge of ensuring the quality of our suppliers' products and materials. With a solid grasp of quality management systems, you will evaluate and enhance manufacturing processes, guaranteeing our high standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate supplier production processes and monitor compliance with quality agreements.
  • Identify areas for improvement in suppliers' quality systems and methodologies.
  • Engage in effective problem-solving to resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Assist in creating audit reports and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both internal teams and suppliers.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for suppliers on quality management practices.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support product launches and modifications.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at reducing defects and enhancing operational efficiencies.
  • Actively participate in quality forums and contribute to the development of industry best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry is advantageous.
