Zone Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We seek a dedicated Zone Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep and repair of our designated facility zones. The ideal candidate will conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot maintenance issues, and carry out repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing any faults in building systems.
• Support the Facilities Manager with maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay current with best practices in facility maintenance.
• Help develop and implement maintenance schedules.
• Facilitate a safe and productive work environment by promoting health and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional technical certifications are a plus.

Experience

• Proven experience in facility maintenance roles.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Maintenance management systems

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills
• Customer service

Certifications

• IOSH Managing Safely
• City & Guilds Level 2 Maintenance

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of energy-efficient systems: Familiarity with eco-friendly and sustainable maintenance practices.
• Experience with contractor management: Ability to oversee external contractors during maintenance tasks.
