Agricultural Equipment Operator

Job Description

The Agricultural Equipment Operator, commonly referred to as a Cotton Baler, will operate and maintain the equipment that compresses raw cotton into bales ready for shipment. This position requires adherence to safety protocols, attention to detail, and the physical stamina to thrive in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate cotton baling machinery effectively and safely.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to streamline loading operations.
• Document production data and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Monitor quality of bales produced and address any issues immediately.

Requirements

Education

• Training in equipment operation may be provided by the employer.

Experience

• Experience with mechanical equipment in a manufacturing or agricultural environment is a plus.
