We are seeking a talented Food Science Researcher to join our team in Llanelli. The ideal candidate will conduct food research projects, focusing on food quality, sustainability, and innovative processing techniques, while collaborating closely with production and quality assurance teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage experiments to explore food preservation techniques.
• Investigate consumer preferences for new product concepts.
• Provide scientific support for production and quality assurance teams.
• Analyze sensory data to enhance product appeal.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Research and implement best practices in food manufacturing.
• Mentor junior researchers and interns in food science methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, or a related field
• PhD in Food Science or related area preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in food product development or R&D
