Job Description

In this role, you will be working closely with patients, providing them with the support and understanding needed to manage their mental health conditions effectively. Your contribution will not only enhance their quality of life but also empower them towards recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct mental health assessments and evaluations.
  • Develop care plans tailored to patient needs and goals.
  • Offer therapeutic activities and support to enhance patient engagement.
  • Collaborate with social workers and psychologists to coordinate care.
  • Monitor patients for changes in condition and report concerns.
  • Provide guidance and education to patients and their families.
  • Participate in care team meetings to discuss patient progress.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Keep informed about best practices in mental health care.
  • Engage in community outreach and support programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Registered Nurse qualification with additional training in mental health
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing is a plus
Experience
  • Over 3 years experience in mental health settings

Certifications
  • Mental Health First Aid certification
  • Advanced Life Support certification is a plus
Languages
  • English: Fluent
