Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles are dispatched efficiently and according to the daily schedule.
• Utilise GPS systems to monitor vehicle locations and adjust routes as necessary.
• Collaborate with various departments to streamline operations.
• Document and report any transportation discrepancies or delays.
• Assist in developing strategies for improved transport efficiency.
• Engage with customers to provide updates and handle inquiries.
• Conduct regular audits of vehicle dispatch records for accuracy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with transportation vendors.
• Train and mentor new dispatch staff as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is preferable

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dispatch or logistics role
