Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Beam Racker to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently storing and retrieving beams while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Utilise heavy machinery to retrieve and store beams safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with other warehouse operatives to optimise workflow.
• Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Support logistics efforts by monitoring inventory levels and condition of materials.
• Maintain safety standards and report any incidents or near misses.
• Assist in audits and compliance checks to meet industry standards.
• Ensure efficient layout and organisation of the warehouse to maximise space utilisation.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Forklift Operation
• Inventory Management

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication

Certifications

• Valid Forklift Operating Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology: Knowledge of using RFID technology for inventory tracking.
• Additional heavy machinery operating experience: Experience in operating other types of machinery in a warehouse setting.
