Job Description

As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), you will play a critical role in our healthcare team by assisting licensed professionals in administering medications to patients. Your responsibilities include ensuring safe and accurate dispensing of prescribed medications and providing vital support to the nursing staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to nursing staff in medication administration.
  • Monitor and track medication inventories to ensure availability.
  • Engage with patients to address their questions regarding medication.
  • Document all medication-related activities promptly and accurately.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education
  • Valid certification as a Medication Aide from a recognised training programme.
  • Current registration with relevant regulatory body.
Experience
  • Experience working with elderly or special needs patients is advantageous.
