Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Train Operators to join our London-based team. Your focus will be on safe train operations, customer service, and maintaining high safety standards throughout your shifts.
Responsibilities
Operate trains effectively while ensuring passenger and cargo safety.
Communicate with other railway staff to guarantee efficiency.
Respond promptly to customer needs and safety concerns.
Perform pre-journey safety checks before departures.
Document all train operations and report any discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant transport policies and regulations.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
Assist in implementing safety initiatives and improvements.
Foster a positive and secure environment for team members.
Support new employees in training and learning processes.
Requirements
Education
Valid train driver's licence
Good understanding of railway operating regulations
Experience
Experience in handling customer complaints will be an advantage.
