Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Deli Clerk to join our team. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving deli items, and maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the deli department.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
• Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and notifying the supervisor of shortages.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a deli or similar food service role.

Technical Skills

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of deli products

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Certifications

• Ability to obtain relevant food safety certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
